Dr. Chu delivers compassionate, evidence-based care that meets each patient’s needs. With a special interest in gender-affirming care and the prevention and treatment ofsexually transmitted infections, he is driven to provide equitable treatment for all while working to eliminate the stigma often associated with these issues.
He is passionate about giving all patients a platform to be heard, understood, and empowered. As a faculty member, he fosters a collaborative hands-on learning environment for his team and instills a commitment to innovative, patient-centered, and forward-thinking healthcare.
Outside PVHC, Dr. Chu actively partners with local organizations to offer health education and mentoring to local students. He also enjoys traveling with his wife, trying delicious foods, and exploring the night sky.
