Most of us have heard the expression, “Exercise is good medicine.” As is the case with any “medicine,” the dose is critical to optimizing benefits and minimizing complications. Our team of physical therapists offers years of experience and advanced expertise across over 20 different Specialty services. These therapies are designed to restore mobility, increase muscle strength and flexibility, improve coordination, alleviate pain, and normalize function.

Patients who wish to increase their independence during recovery from a traumatic physical or emotional injury can benefit from occupational therapy. Occupational therapy offers patients the necessary tools and skills to overcome their physical or mental challenges to better manage everyday tasks.
Pediatric occupational therapy addresses the fundamental skills necessary for performing activities of daily living, including feeding, self-care, play skills, visual and motor tasks, social interaction, and safety awareness.

Aquatic physical therapy, located at the PVHC clinics in both Chino Hills and La Verne, is a frequently recommended rehabilitation service for patients suffering from a variety of musculoskeletal pains or other physical limitations, that make land-based exercise too painful. Exercising in our warm water pools can reduce the force across muscles, bones, and joints by more than 50%, allowing patients to perform exercises through larger ranges of motion without aggravating their symptoms.
Our aquatic therapy programs at both locations are led by licensed physical therapists with advanced training or specialty certifications in aquatic therapy.
Aquatic “Wellness” classes are a unique aftercare option for former Aquatic Therapy patients who, upon discharge from PT, wish to continue working on their general health and fitness. Participants receive ongoing supervised aftercare support as they transition to an independent fitness group program. We help you “Get Well … and Stay Well!”
