Presidents Message for 2024
This year marks my second year as President of Premier Family Medicine. I have had the honor of leading this medical group in both Primary Care and Urgent Care. Currently we have 5 locations in the Inland Empire, including Claremont, La Verne, Pomona, and two at Chino Hills. We continue to provide outstanding services in obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics, sports medicine, behavioral health, palliative care, and geriatrics. Many of our physicians offer unique specialty procedures such as ultrasound guided injections, PRP (plasma rich protein) injections, vasectomies, circumcisions, skin/uterine biopsies, birth control device implantation & removal.
We continue to grow through our clinicians to better serve our community. We have hired two new physicians, Dr. Okasaki and Dr. Hathaway; both of whom finished a three year family medicine residency at our own Pomona Valley Hospital Family Medicine Program. They are currently located at our Claremont office which has recently gone through an expansion renovation. This means calling any of the offices will have a shorter wait time so that you can schedule your appointments quicker.
Our group is constantly improving its technology to provide better services and patient experiences. For those who have been to our urgent care centers, you would have seen signs about Clockwise. This is a scheduling program that allows patients to see wait times at each of our urgent cares and to “hold their place” in line from the comfort of home and reduce wait time at the clinic. For any of our existing patients; you can sign up for the patient portal or downloaded our free app. You can either get signed up when you come for your clinicians visit or on the web at https://www.pvhmc.org/patient-portal/ . Through the patient portal you can access your visit, labs, radiology, and be able to message your provider at any time.
I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to the patients that make up this community and for being a part of your journey to wellbeing.
