In addition to providing comprehensive family medicine to patients of all ages, Dr. Ijadi brings a unique focus and hands-on experience in nonsurgical orthopedic and sports medicine. During his residency training here at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center, Dr. Ijadi trained in sports medicine under Duane W. Styles, M.D. This gave him the opportunity to cover major sporting events, including the Fairplex Marathon and NCAA basketball tournaments, and to work as the team physician for Bonita and Lewiston High Schools as well as Bates and Colby colleges.
Dr. Ijadi’s professional focus on nonsurgical sports medicine includes fracture care, concussion management, ultrasound-guided injections, arthritis management, joint pain, acute back and neck pain and a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and diseases. His treatment experience is as versatile as it is focused, having helped athletes of all skill and age categories, including “weekend warriors”, professional players and students as the current team doctor at San Dimas High School.
