Darlene McPherson has 15 years of experience as a family nurse practitioner. Her approach to caring for patients is holistic, which includes physical, mental, psychosocial and spiritual health. She enjoys family nursing because it gives her the opportunity to observe the dynamics of her patients’ environment and the impact it has on their health.
In addition to treating patients, Ms. McPherson lectures on research and its application to nurses at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center. She has also mentored many graduate nursing students. In her spare time, Ms. McPherson volunteers for several community organizations. She also enjoys gardening, hiking, camping, and spending time with her family.
